smallpic1Chuck Rohrer is an instructor in the ITDEV program at Milwaukee Area Technical College, teaching HTML, CSS, Java, mobile app development, and programming on both the client and server.  Chuck has an education in engineering. He spent many years as a freelance programmer specializing in engineering applications, and began his career doing research in computer-based control systems. He has one US patent. Other interests include energy conservation, renewable energy, and the use of data to help drive energy decisions. He serves as a volunteer member of the City of Wauwatosa Energy and Recycling Advisory Committee. One of these days he is going to write that perfect energy tracking application.

Previous teaching experience is at MATC, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and at a private institution.


smallpic2Larry Domine is an Information Technology professional and full time instructor at MATC. Wearable technology and competency based education are his current areas of concentration.

Previous to full time employment with MATC he was with the Metavante Corporation where he worked on special application development projects and conducted training for programmers. Other work experience includes management positions with Abbott Laboratories, Kinko’s, and McDonald’s.

Larry has a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems (MS-MIS) from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

faculty_3Robert Menzl is an Information Technology professional and a part-time instructor in MATC’s Business Information Technology Development Department. His concentration is in Object Oriented Programming as well as logic and problem solving.

Before joining MATC, Mr Menzl worked for 36 years in the IT field beginning as a programmer for the Department of Defense working in Assembly and Machine code. He worked his way up within the IT industry and recently left the business world as the Corporate Vice-President of Information Technology for a $2 billion, global Milwaukee manufacturer.

Robert Menzl is a graduate of Purdue University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  He also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and a Master of Management from Northwestern’s Graduate School of Management (Kellogg).
